Full training or upgrade: your cost overview
From age 18, A2 lets you ride motorcycles up to 35 kW (48 hp) – enough power for most mid-range bikes. Full training comprises 12 mandatory special drives (5 rural, 4 motorway, 3 night) plus around 12 practice lessons on average. If you already held A1 for two years, however, you can upgrade with far fewer mandatory hours and no theory exam.
